LifeGroups

You were designed by God to live in community. Now is the perfect time to join a LifeGroup, where you can be real, belong, and make a difference. Registration opens September 8th!

Life is hard. Don't face it alone.

LifeGroups are gatherings of people that meet in homes, online, coffee shops, restaurants, the great outdoors, or really just about anywhere. They exist to provide a place where you can make friends, follow Jesus, and make a difference. Wherever you are in life and in your spiritual journey, no matter what your interests, career goals, stage of life or zip, we have a group for you.

FAQs

What exactly is a LifeGroup?

LifeGroups create a space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. A LifeGroup Leader determines how often their group meets and what the focus of the group is. LifeGroups gather in homes, coffee shops, and other places where people love to connect—including online!

How do I join a group?

First, give yourself a high five for taking the step to join a LifeGroup! Here are several easy ways to get connected:

  • Visit the Information Center at any of our  locations and talk to our Dream Team there. If you attend LifeHouse Online, contact the team here.
  • Find a LifeGroup near you or one that meets digitally using our online LifeGroups search tool.
  • Talk to someone you know who leads a LifeGroup and ask if their group is open to new members.

What do you actually do in a LifeGroup?

Every LifeGroup is unique. Some discuss the weekend message, some complete Bible Plans in the YouVersion Bible App together, some serve together in the community, and some BBQ or some read an inspiring book together. Two things you’ll find in every LifeGroup, though, are relationships and conversations that help people grow in their faith.

Is it okay to "shop around" for a LifeGroup?

Absolutely! It’s understandable to want to find people you feel comfortable opening up to and developing friendships with. That being said, if you’ve joined a LifeGroup and aren’t sure if it’s the right fit for you, don’t give up. Keep in mind that there’s no such thing as a perfect LifeGroup because there are no perfect people. Remember to have grace and patience during the process. If it’s clear that this group isn’t the best fit for you, though, give another group a try.

What if there's not a LifeGroup for what I'm looking for?

This might be a sign that God is calling you to start a group! If God’s placed a certain passion or calling within you, He might want you to take a step of faith and launch a LifeGroup around it. You won’t have to do this alone, though. We are here to support you every step of the way.
